Jackie Chan and Arnold Schwartzenator have teamed up to make an ad fighting piracy… the real kind, as in bootlegged media that you’d find on sale at your local swap-meet, flea market or streetcorner. I like the fact that they actually talk about pirated products being bought and sold when they talk about piracy, because file sharing should not be confused with piracy. The bootleggers are criminals that are often involved with cartels, mafias, gangs and crime families. They partake in much more destructive crimes than simply selling copies of movies. People who swap files are just that- ordinary people, and I feel that a distinction needs to be made.
