Here’s a trailer for the upcoming Batman video game. It looks like it’s going to be a stealth based game, like the Metal Gear series. Too bad they don’t show much actual gameplay footage- and the bits of gameplay footage that is shown is taken away at the bat of an eye (no pun intended).

In case you haven’t figured it out, when a video game commercial doesn’t show gameplay footage, it’s usually a bad sign. I would say that video games based on movies are generally bad, but this title isn’t directly associated with any particular movie, so I won’t be making a call either way on that front.

What I can say is that I like the idea of a stealth-based Batman game. Also, I’m not totally crazy about this game, but I would be willing to give it a chance. Oh yeah, and I try not to get caught up in video game hype since a few very hyped titles have let me down in the past.
