Space Capsule House

This crazy looking Japanese living capsule is supposed to be flood and earthquake resistant. The structure is made from the same materials used in the Tokyo Dome. Acoording to the little pictures found on the manufacturer’s website, the structure smiles when it gets wet or when other buildings yell at it. It also appears that looking out the windows can cause maniacal laughter. Prices start around $30 grand if you don’t mind living in something that looks like a lunar lander. Actually, this looks pretty sweet. Maybe I’ll look up some mortgage lenders to see if they well shell out some cash so that I can re-enact Niel Armstrong’s trip to the moon!

source, DVICE, who doesn’t get another link from me today.
