How To Replace Capacitors
Posted: August 10th, 2010 | Author: Sly | Filed under: Uncategorized | No Comments »Here’s a handy guide for all of you DIY electronics repair people out there. How to replace a capacitor. Capacitors are one of the most common hazards faced by electronics repairers, as they pack enough juice to give you a serious jolt. My adventures in re-selling used merchandise has recently led me into the realm of electronics repair. A lot of the items I sell are electronics- whether they are scales , radios, or like my most current acquisition- an arcade machine… well, there are no guarantees that a particular item I’ve purchased will work. If a device doesn’t work, I may crack the lid and see if there’s anything obviously wrong inside. This typically doesn’t get me anywhere, and I end up selling the item as a defective unit. This warrants the sad emoticon. Crazy thing is, some defective items end up selling for a profit. Now if only I waas better at fixing these things!
