New Phones Soon!

Our phones are finally due for replacement. Normally, I wouldn’t care, except that these phones (motorola backflip) have been a serious pain in the rear. The restart for no apparent reason. I used to think it was because of pressure on the keyboard while texting, but my wife’s phone will restart when it’s sitting still, a=on the other side of the room. It’s also slow. And it pulls up stupid character menus while I’m texting. I don’t blame the operating system for any of this. Also, the new android OS is being called “ice cream sandwich”. I guess because they want it to be more appealing. So, all the developers are sporting sweet maternity dresses in hope of pushing out a newborn OS. That is how software is made, right? Just like childbirth? come on guys, Push! I hope it’s a boy.

Satellite Debris Warning

NASA Issued a vague warning… “the sky is falling”. Or stuff is falling out of the sky. A decommissioned Satellite, to be more specific. Either way, I’m going to be stocking up on horse riding helmets . At the moment, they don’t know exactly where it is going to land. They also make a two-faced statement about how little the danger is of being hit, while mentioning that any debris that you find should be treated as hazardous material. So… if it falls from the sky and hits you in the head, you’re going to be A-okay, but if it falls in your back yard, you shouldn’t touch it?

I think I need a new sound card

My current sound card works fine. Sadly, it doesn’t play nice with my audio editing software of choice. I’ve basically stopped making music for the last 8 months because of this. It’s already a very tedious process, even when I’m not constantly rebooting or saving every few minutes because my program crashed. Sadly, the card I bought was not highly recommended in the first place, and I went ahead and bought it anyway.
