While I give these guys kudos for thinking out of the box, I have to say that this design isn’t exactly a winning hand… like… ahem .. a royal flush. Yes, I think that this toy is about as crappy as that pun. I mean, what’s next, a transformer that turns into a blackhead extractor ? This is one time that I wish the designers would have stuck to a winning formula, because this design stinks!

tigatron-usb-flash-drive

Here we have a robot that transforms from some sort of wild jungle kitty into a USB flash drive. I bet you’re absolutely sick of all the transforming gadgets at this point… Just remember, it could be worse… I could have gone on a three day long horse supplies blogging bender. Neigh!

Good thing it’s robots, which are totally awesome, even if they may someday take over the world.

Too bad this particular robot is ridiculously overpriced… at $51 for a 2 gig flash drive, it’s trying to take over your wallet if anything.

Here’s one fully awesome USB hub. It’s a transformer that turns into a laptop. As if this wasn’t overflowing with awesome already, it even has a little cassette transformer hiding in it’s chest, which is really old school.

I kinda doubt that this is an officially license Transformers product, but who cares? Awesome is as awesome looks. And since I’m misquoting Forrest Gump, I might as well add that life is like a bag of jalapenos- what you eat today will burn your ass tomorrow.

I think that this is the first mouse I’ve seen that you can totally play with all PEW PEW style and not have people think you’re totally insane. Only half insane. Or in my case, three quarters insane. What do you mean, the pterodactyls shouldn’t be made to hump each other? I’m trying to make them multiply… because I like to get the most.. ahem… bang for my buck, and these things cost $60 each- that’s a lot more than that cheap computer memory that I had my eye on.

Speaking of PEW PEW, these mice have an 800 DPI laser built in. I’m not sure what that means since I’ll probably end up using these things as bath toys anyway. I’m calling in a pterodactyl thunder strike on foam mountain! Ow, my nads!

I would proudly rock out to this sweet looking retro transformers MP3 player. It is totally awesome, and reminds me of the ipod of my day- the walkman. I spent many an hour walking around, riding the bus and rocking out with my headphones on. Batteries were in high demand, and I would sometimes rewind my cassettes by hand to save some juice. That isn’t an issue with this SD-card enabled MP3 player. All it needs is a little cassette that turns into some sort of quadroped, and I think I might just jizz in my pants from retro-nostalgia glee.
