I’m a fidgety kinda guy who likes to bang on things, so this looks like the kind of item that would keep me amused for a while. It’s a drum set that you can play with your fingers… it even records your performances so you can play an encore for your friends. This would be great if I had to wait around somewhere for a long time… let’s hope that for everyone else’s sake that it has an earphone jack! This thing is fairly reasonably priced at $18.99.

What we have here is an indoor kite. I know it sounds crazy, but it is remote controlled… and has an electric motor in it. Some people would say that makes this a remote controlled… UFO or dirigible or something. I would be one of those people. I would also try to trick the local news into running yet another news story about UFOs over Phoenix [google].
This thing costs about $15, and probably performs as well as you’d expect a remote controlled anything to perform.
It’s called the Kazoo… an appropriately off-the-mark name for such a toy, and you can pick it up at Hobbytron, where they have tons of inexpensive remote controlled flying toys.

Here we have a robot that transforms from some sort of wild jungle kitty into a USB flash drive. I bet you’re absolutely sick of all the transforming gadgets at this point… Just remember, it could be worse… I could have gone on a three day long horse supplies blogging bender. Neigh!
Good thing it’s robots, which are totally awesome, even if they may someday take over the world.
Too bad this particular robot is ridiculously overpriced… at $51 for a 2 gig flash drive, it’s trying to take over your wallet if anything.
