The remote looks suspiciously like an xbox controller, but this could just be a preproduction release.
What I’m really interested in is the UFO-like contraption that appears in the video below at about the 2:20 mark. Not only does it make me want to film an incredibly low budget movie about an alien invasion, but it looks like a mighty fine cat toy as well… maybe I could make an incredibly low budget movie about a giant cat that saves the world from alien invasion? I think I’ll name it Catzilla!
Oh man, I want this thing. It is a remote controlled bird. Why I want it is another story altogether. You see, ever since I saw this video of a cat killing a remote controlled helicopter, I’ve wanted a remote controlled helicopter. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find one that has a safety ring around the blades- and I don’t want to hurt my kitties!
Let me tell you- I did not get a positive reaction from the guys at the hobby store when I told them that I wanted to buy a remote controlled helicopter for my cats to play with. They didn’t have what I was looking for, but even if they did, I don’t think they would have sold it to me after I told them my plan.
This R/C bird is for currently out of stock at thumbsupUK, and at nearly fifty dollars, it is far too expensive to be used as a cat toy, no matter how durable they claim it is.
My head is just about to explode due to a conflict between my love of all things remote controlled and my hate for useless and retarded USB gadgets. If I was a robot in some 50′s sci fi movie, I’d be running in circles saying “error…error…error” while simultaneously spewing smoke from my head.
Anyway, it’s a USB remote controller car that is controlled from your computer screen, and whileit may be fairly useless, it is at least inexpensive at $29, which is very cheap for a remote controlled car… and hey- you could use it to distribute donuts at the next big meeting!
