Everyone knows that Japanese technology is light years ahead of everyone else. I swear, those guys are living in the future. Right now, they’re working on an astronaut toilet that is worn at all times. It takes care of waste removal and cleanup.

Quote from CraziestGadgets:

When the astronaut has to go, sensors automatically turn on a rear-mounted suction hose to remove the waste. Then an automatic washer and dryer cleans you up.

Rear-mounted suction hose? Sounds sexy! Now let’s start working on a version for old folks homes and hospitals. After Japan finishes designing theirs- in five years.

Guess I’ll have to work on mastering time travel if I want to see this invention any time soon. I’ve almost got it worked out- right now I can travel into the future at the rate of one second per second without even trying.

Okay, so they’ve dubbed it a “winter” light show. Whatever you want to call it, it’s hard to complain about a display featuring 4.5 million LED lights. The theme is flowers, with 64 billion colors that change so quickly that it is reminiscent of a flowing river. What I want to know: how do they get 64 million colors from 4.5 million lights, and who’s counting?
