Like it or not, (http://pixel-shack.net/wp-admin/media-upload.php?post_id=3292&type=image&TB_iframe=truemore like know it or not, because why would you like it) the united states is behind most of the world when it comes to average household broadband internet speed. We’re in the bottom two-thirds or something like that. The FCC has made plans to get 100 million households up to a 100 megabit per second internet speed. Nice. As it is, I think my neighbor traded in his Orlando vacation savings just to get a 12 megabit connection piped in to his home. He works in IT, so it’s possible that there’s a tax write-off in it for him.

That’s right, Gmail now lets you ‘unsend’ emails- but only if you react with a five second timeframe. I think they should let their users determine how long the emails are held. Especially since my most regretful emails are sent while drunk, and five seconds is not nearly enough. Of course, too long, and the convenience of email fades… maybe two or three minutes would be a good timeframe.
Now the next time you accidentally include your grandmother’s email address in an email to your girlfriend, you won’t have to spend the next three hours in the shower and the subsequent hour huddled under an electric blanket.
Now, if only I used Gmail, I could take advantage of this sweet, embarrassment-saving feature.
If only the ad was half as awesome as that pic ^. Nooooo. The actual advert is just black with text and some circles with little pictures in them. To see the faux 3D goodness, you have to dust off the unsecure Internet Explorer program, plus you need a webcam. All this just to see a mini cooper? I don’t think so! Oh yeah, and it probably helps if you live in Germany.
