A Canadian teen isolated a microbe that can degrade plastic bags in roughly three months- a task that normally takes hundreds of years. The boy won top prize in a nationwide science fair, walked away with many awards, a $10,000 prize, and a $20,000 scholarship.

In an attempt to attract the world’s wealthiest tourists, Dubai is creating many of the most interesting structures in the world. This most recent project is an incredible structure that allows the occupants to choose which direction their floor faces. It also produces much more energy than it uses, thanks to the large wind turbines located between floors. This building actually generates ten times the power that it needs, putting that energy back into the power grid.

Chrysler is starting to make concept cars that appeal to the green market- their latest offering is a bit more practical than the Tesla, but still delivers some serious performance. With 268 horses, and a naught to sixty time under six seconds, the Dodge Zeo is no pushover. Plus, it delivers a 250 mile range per charge.
