Electric lawnmowers are nothing new, but they usually need a hefty extension cord to seal the deal. This Neuton CE 6 lawnmower changes all of that with their rechargeable battery powered green cutting machine. While the lack of carbon emissions might please you, the $499 price tag might shock you just a bit… if you absolutely must have one, but can’t bear to part with that much dough, you might try your luck at one of your favorite online auctions instead of going the retail route. I’m not sure if the weed whacker in this pic is part of the lawnmower or if it is an accessory.

Hey, check out these nano ta-tas! They may not be big, but damn are they perky! They retail for about $2000 and get 60 MPG. Now that’s more than a mouthful. Since I’m a guy, and I posses leet photoshop skillz, I’ve gone ahead and made the tata nano into a side boob, just for you. Because tata means boob, and nano means small. Also because it actually looks like a big boob. All I can say is that I had fun researching this one.

I didn’t even know there was a wind powered vehicle land speed record, but there is, and it stands at an astounding 116.7 MPH. I’m not sure how they pulled that off, but the Greenbird (pictured above) is going to attempt to crush that record on some windy day. Speaking of windy days, last night I had enough flatulence to launch that thing into orbit… but then I suppose it would be considered a gas powered vehicle.

A Canadian teen isolated a microbe that can degrade plastic bags in roughly three months- a task that normally takes hundreds of years. The boy won top prize in a nationwide science fair, walked away with many awards, a $10,000 prize, and a $20,000 scholarship.

In an attempt to attract the world’s wealthiest tourists, Dubai is creating many of the most interesting structures in the world. This most recent project is an incredible structure that allows the occupants to choose which direction their floor faces. It also produces much more energy than it uses, thanks to the large wind turbines located between floors. This building actually generates ten times the power that it needs, putting that energy back into the power grid.

Chrysler is starting to make concept cars that appeal to the green market- their latest offering is a bit more practical than the Tesla, but still delivers some serious performance. With 268 horses, and a naught to sixty time under six seconds, the Dodge Zeo is no pushover. Plus, it delivers a 250 mile range per charge. There’s more info at Gizmag, where they touch on auto manufacturer ties with oil companies, and they have tons of pictures of this beast.
