Vinyl is still the preferred media for many music enthusiasts. There are countless blogs run by record collectors as evidence of this. Sadly, vinyl isn’t the most portable format known to man. Despite the odd automotive turntable, records just aren’t easy to lug around.
Denon has come up with a sweet solution. It takes your records and converts them to MP3, dropping them directly on a flash drive. Now you won’t have to worry about using up your computer memory , and if you have a USB MP3 player, you can grab your freshly ripped MP3s and go out on the town while enjoying your favorite tunes.

Budget Gadgets sent this flash drive to review. This imitation Hamtaro flash drive is the cutest way to store data that I’ve ever seen. It’s face lights up when you plug it in to your computer, and depending on the model you choose, it stores 1, 2, 4, or 8 gigabytes of data. It also happens to be very well priced for a novelty flash drive. Prices start at $7.99 (shipping is free!) and the more storage you choose, the higher the price goes.
I wouldn’t know what Hamtaro was, except that a few years ago, my wife and I bought a Ham-Ham piggy bank just because it was so irresistibly cute. You’ll find a picture of our piggy bank next to our flash drive below.
I kind of expected this flash drive to be the kind where you pull the head off to plug it in, but instead, the USB plug is attached to the bottom of the drive with wires (like a tail!), and it tucks in to the back of the little hamster where it snaps in to place. This one piece design keeps you from losing part of your flash drive.

A guy walks in to a bakery, and asks to have the image on a flash drive turned into a cake. When he comes to pick up his cake, he finds that the bakery made the cake with an image of the flash drive on it. I don’t know who to laugh at more here- the bakery or the customer- I understand that there might have been a communications breakdown somewhere, but to expect a bakery to not only have a computer on hand, but possibly a printer, too? I’m assuming that the name of the bakery wasn’t Kinko’s Bakery.
