What we have here is a really cool hard drive. It even comes with a lesson in Korean codespeak. Let me explain further- this product is called the Mint Hard. The company that makes it is called Mint- that part is straightforward. The reason they call it “hard” is another story- you see, in Korea, the word hard is the same word they use to refer to ice cream bars and hard drives, so the ice cream bar shaped hard drive makes perfect sense in their language.
Also, did you notice that USB Drive handle? They mention that it isn’t meant to be used as a handle… so those of you who want to treat your USB drives like industrial handles may want to think twice… or glue it in place (please don’t glue it in place). The hard drive automatically transfers any data from an inserted USB flash drive. I’m pretty sure you don’t have to use their USB handle exclusively.
Did you know that electronics made in Korea have a Seoul? Wow, what a bad pun. I do apologize. On the other hand, I stand firmly behind the following photshoped image:

Yeeh, I just went there. What can I say, it’s what I do.

The Trekkies out there should love this. It’s a Star Trek Pez Dispenser that has been modded to hold a 2GB flash drive. The price isn’t too terribly gouge-tastic at $25, though you can pick up a 4GB SD card for about $14 these days…
I swear, you can sell anything on Etsy.. or at least you can try… even plus size babydolls lingerie could fetch a hefty fee if you sewed on a Mario or Zelda.. which gives me an idea: “sorry, but our princess is the size of a castle..”. I blame it on the mushrooms. You know how they effect Super Mario.. now imagine if that’s all you ever ate…. it would be like attack of the 50 ft woman all over again!

Here we have a robot that transforms from some sort of wild jungle kitty into a USB flash drive. I bet you’re absolutely sick of all the transforming gadgets at this point… Just remember, it could be worse… I could have gone on a three day long horse supplies blogging bender. Neigh!
Good thing it’s robots, which are totally awesome, even if they may someday take over the world.
Too bad this particular robot is ridiculously overpriced… at $51 for a 2 gig flash drive, it’s trying to take over your wallet if anything.

Vinyl is still the preferred media for many music enthusiasts. There are countless blogs run by record collectors as evidence of this. Sadly, vinyl isn’t the most portable format known to man. Despite the odd automotive turntable, records just aren’t easy to lug around.
Denon has come up with a sweet solution. It takes your records and converts them to MP3, dropping them directly on a flash drive. Now you won’t have to worry about using up your computer memory , and if you have a USB MP3 player, you can grab your freshly ripped MP3s and go out on the town while enjoying your favorite tunes.

Budget Gadgets sent this flash drive to review. This imitation Hamtaro flash drive is the cutest way to store data that I’ve ever seen. It’s face lights up when you plug it in to your computer, and depending on the model you choose, it stores 1, 2, 4, or 8 gigabytes of data. It also happens to be very well priced for a novelty flash drive. Prices start at $7.99 (shipping is free!) and the more storage you choose, the higher the price goes.
I wouldn’t know what Hamtaro was, except that a few years ago, my wife and I bought a Ham-Ham piggy bank just because it was so irresistibly cute. You’ll find a picture of our piggy bank next to our flash drive below.
I kind of expected this flash drive to be the kind where you pull the head off to plug it in, but instead, the USB plug is attached to the bottom of the drive with wires (like a tail!), and it tucks in to the back of the little hamster where it snaps in to place. This one piece design keeps you from losing part of your flash drive.

A guy walks in to a bakery, and asks to have the image on a flash drive turned into a cake. When he comes to pick up his cake, he finds that the bakery made the cake with an image of the flash drive on it. I don’t know who to laugh at more here- the bakery or the customer- I understand that there might have been a communications breakdown somewhere, but to expect a bakery to not only have a computer on hand, but possibly a printer, too? I’m assuming that the name of the bakery wasn’t Kinko’s Bakery.
