Leave it to the Japanese to come up with a decoration for your bottled water that you actually put in your bottled water. Yeah, it’s cute… and I could totally see some Japanese people using their water bottle as a fashion accessory.. half full of tiny toys. Though I do think that $6 is a bit steep for some plastic.

These decapitated USB Thumbdrives are obviously the brainchild of a really twisted nerd. I mean, what kind of sick bastard would want to decapitate a cute little zoo animal and then stuff it’s corpse with 2Gb of data. This was probably done by the same sick person that brought us the decapitated koala USB card reader. Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

By the way, does anyone need some photoshop work done? Pixel-shack writer is dreaming of a Ramen noodle christmas.

Zookeeper USB Drives are Happy Little (Decapitated) Animals [craziest gadgets] (but not nearly as crazy as I am)

So, this old guy really knows how to work with wood. He built this crazy contraption using nothing but wood and glue. The problem is that it doesn’t really do anything. I bet he thinks he deserves some sort of trophies for his efforts, but I say that his machine needs to do something. My neighbor made a machine… his wacky contraption roasts coffee. What I’m getting at is that your passion must have a purpose, or else it has no point. All you can do with this machine is show it to people. It does nothing! Pretty useless.

Found at High T3ch, who is getting a trophy for their complete and total awesomeness.

I just love an all-in-one solution. Take the multitool, for example. I own four of them, though I’m not sure why. I mean, don’t people buy multitools so that they don’t actually have to buy a bunch of tools? My eccentricities aside, this Hockey table/synthesizer/stadium/TV station is missing something.

As it is, the different keys on the keyboard control different hockey players while cameras catch the action, displaying it on the TV while the sounds from the synth are played.

You know what it needs to really kick it up a notch? Live streaming via the internet. There’s gotta be somewhere I can jam a CAT6 cable into this bad boy so that I can stream my somewhat random hockey games live via the internet for tens of viewers to watch in awe. Get with the times, man- wood is so last century. Unless it’s steampunk- then it’s oh-so-modern, sort of.
