It’s funny. While technology marches on, bringing us itsy-bitsy media players with the ability to store hundreds or thousands of songs right in your pocket… I still have no problem selling run-of-the-mill audio equipment. Okay, it may have been decent equipment in it’s day. And they don’t make em like they used to. I typically deal in home stereo stuff, but I’ve had good luck with portable radios on occasion. It’s amazing what brand name recognition does for the value of an item. Funny thing is, the best brands are not well known by the general public.

Our phones are finally due for replacement. Normally, I wouldn’t care, except that these phones (motorola backflip) have been a serious pain in the rear. The restart for no apparent reason. I used to think it was because of pressure on the keyboard while texting, but my wife’s phone will restart when it’s sitting still, a=on the other side of the room. It’s also slow. And it pulls up stupid character menus while I’m texting. I don’t blame the operating system for any of this. Also, the new android OS is being called “ice cream sandwich”. I guess because they want it to be more appealing. So, all the developers are sporting sweet maternity dresses in hope of pushing out a newborn OS. That is how software is made, right? Just like childbirth? come on guys, Push! I hope it’s a boy.
