You ever have a loose socket? I sure have, what a pain! This $5 contraption takes care of loose outlets. It permanently attaches to one side, and hooks in to the other side. seems inexpensive enough, but it’s really not that hard to replace a socket. I guess we can’t all be homeowners. Meanwhile, this seems like one of those products that just does what is should, like a diet pill that works or a trusty wrench. Meanwhile, the blog where I found this product says it will keep the cord from being yanked out by kids… you probably don’t want your cord being forcefully yanked… it’s just a bad thing all around- you have tripping kids, flying electronics, the list goes on.

I just woke up this morning, grabbed my reading glasses and a cup of coffee and sat down at my computer. Strangely, my wireless mouse wasn’t working. I opened the battery compartment to swap batteries, only to discover that one was missing! After finding a good pair of batteries, I put them in and used the mouse for a few minutes, and then it simply stopped working! this is really strange. Also, the mouse was kind of expensive, so I hate to see it go.

Check out this epic Lord of the Rings LEGO playset… it’s massive! Sure, it’s awe-inspiring, but you know what’s really incredible? how much all those LEGOs cost. Nerds have all the money.
