Products I’ll Never Own: Rain Level Boots

Posted: August 29th, 2010 | Author: | Filed under: Uncategorized | No Comments »

I live in the desert. We don’t get rain very often. So, when I saw these rain measuring boots, the first thing I thought was “these would make great dust catchers”. Because we get wind storms, you see. I’d just as soon buy snow boots and a giant parka.

Even though I live in the desert, we do get the occasional freak storm, and sometimes those storms are crazy- dumping half a years worth of precipitation in an hour. On those rare occasions, I still don’t care how many inches of rain have fallen.

I’ve enlisted the Pixel-Shack in-house photoshop artiste (myself) to whip up a stunning example of just how out of place these things would be.
